Yew Trees accommodates up to 43 people in one adapted building, primarily supporting those living with dementia who have complex needs. At inspection, 41 residents were living at the home. People felt safe and were supported by staff who knew them well.

Risks were properly assessed and mitigated, and the home demonstrated learning from incidents. Medicines were safely managed and the environment was clean and tidy.

Care plans detailed specific needs around eating and drinking, with appetising food and a range of drinks and snacks offered throughout the day. Staff reported feeling well supported in their roles.
