Holme Lea

Holme Lea provides personal care to up to 48 people across 2 floors and 3 units, supporting those with physical, mental health and sensory needs, people living with dementia, and younger and older adults. At inspection, 46 people were using the service.

People felt safe at the home and systems were in place to protect them from abuse. The service maintained safe staffing levels, with both people and families confirming there was enough staff. Staff were recruited safely, though inspectors recommended improvements to pre-employment checks. Risk management and environmental safety systems were established, though medicines were not always managed safely.
