Wordsley House

Wordsley House accommodates up to eight people, supporting both younger and older adults, some with mental health needs. At inspection, eight people were using the service. The home had implemented robust infection prevention measures, including regular additional cleaning of all areas and frequent touch surfaces. Staff wore appropriate personal protective equipment with ample supplies available, and people and staff participated in regular testing programmes with vaccination status checks in place.

People and their relatives were supported to maintain contact using various technologies. Staff ensured residents understood infection prevention and control measures, including the reasons for practices such as wearing face masks. The service demonstrated a comprehensive approach to protecting the health and wellbeing of both residents and staff during the inspection period.
