Woodstock Nursing Home

This residential care home accommodates up to 28 people requiring personal and nursing care, with a particular focus on supporting those living with dementia and associated mental health needs. At inspection, 21 people were using the service. The home is based in one adapted building and provides residents with access to a safe garden.

However, inspectors identified significant concerns regarding staff recruitment. Staff had not been recruited in accordance with relevant regulations and guidance, and the provider's recruitment policy did not meet regulatory requirements. Recruitment processes had not been sufficiently checked to ensure they were fully completed before staff began working at the home.
