Chapel House Care Centre

Chapel House Care Centre provides personal and nursing care for 40 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 41 people in a single adapted building. Six of these beds serve as intermediary provision through the Integrated Access Team, supporting people's transition between hospital and home. Residents and relatives reported feeling safe at the service. Staff were safely recruited and trained, with robust systems in place to protect people from abuse. Staff demonstrated confidence in reporting concerns, and risks were regularly identified, assessed and managed with clear plans in place. Accidents and incidents were recorded and reviewed to identify further safety improvements.

Staff supported residents to maintain maximum choice and control over their lives, using the least restrictive practices appropriate to individual needs and best interests. Residents were cared for by staff who knew them well and treated them with respect, while being supported to express their views and maintain independence.
