Woodleigh Rest Home Limited

Woodleigh Rest Home, in Bradford, is a residential care home providing personal care for up to 33 older people, including those living with dementia. Around 17 people were living there when inspectors visited. The home has moved out of special measures and is now rated Good overall, having previously been rated inadequate.

The CQC found strengthened leadership, effective medicines management and a positive, caring culture, with people and relatives describing staff as kind and family-like. Some areas still needed further work, including the accuracy of care records, oversight of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, infection control practices and ongoing refurbishment of the environment.
