Woodleigh Rest Home Limited

Woodleigh Rest Home provides personal care to up to 33 older people and people living with dementia. At inspection, 19 people were using the service. Inspectors found significant safety concerns, including unsafe medicine management with no routine checks in place to ensure people received prescribed medications. Risk assessments for moving and handling, skin integrity, and environmental hazards had not been effectively completed or reviewed. People's nutritional needs were not consistently met.

The manager demonstrated weak leadership, and the provider had failed to establish robust governance arrangements or show evidence of learning from previous concerns. Issues raised at the last inspection remained unaddressed, indicating a pattern of unresolved problems across the service.
