Woodlands Care Home

Woodlands Care Home is a care home without nursing for up to 32 older people, supporting 14 residents at the time of the assessment. The service had previously been rated inadequate and placed in special measures, but the CQC found the provider had made the necessary improvements and was no longer breaching legal regulations, with the home coming out of special measures.

Inspectors found staff were kind, respectful and well supported, food was good, and quality monitoring had improved. Some gaps remained, including risk assessments lacking detail, basic dementia training, and staffing deployment at busy times that occasionally left people anxious without reassurance.
