78 Hoylake Crescent is a care home for up to 4 adults with mental health needs, including some people who also have a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, 2 people were living there. The home was previously rated requires improvement, with breaches relating to safety, staffing and governance, but the CQC found these had been resolved and it is now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found people safe, well cared for and living in a clean, well-maintained home, with kind and attentive staff. However, social activities were limited, there was no therapeutic support for mental health recovery, and people were not encouraged to build independence or plan for the future. Managers acknowledged this and said further improvements were planned.
