Woodhill House Home for Older People

Woodhill House provides personal care and accommodation to 46 older people, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 34 people were living in the home across four separate living areas, with one dedicated to older people and three to those with dementia.

Staff demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices, trained in the safe use of Personal Protective Equipment and observed using appropriate levels throughout the home. The registered manager actively monitored PPE compliance and ensured sufficient supplies were available. The home maintained high cleanliness standards, with frequently touched surfaces cleaned regularly throughout the day. The registered manager sought specialist advice to maintain a clean, hygienic and comfortable environment for residents.
