Woodheath Care Home

This care home accommodates up to 61 people, including those living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 59 residents were living there.

Staff who administer medicines have received training and had their competency assessed. However, inspectors made a recommendation regarding medicine management after finding that stock balances of some medicines did not match recorded amounts, and temperature checks in one medicine storage area had not been conducted daily as required.

The home has infection prevention and control policies and procedures in place to reduce infection risks, including COVID-19. The premises were clean, with cleaning schedules being further developed.
