Woodham Lodge

This residential care home provides support to six people in a purpose-built bungalow. At the time of inspection, care plans and monitoring records were not consistently in place to support people's physical health needs. The service did not always maximise people's choice, control and independence in their own lives. For example, significant decisions about aspects of people's lives, such as bedroom arrangements, were not always recorded or discussed as part of a structured decision-making process. While the service encouraged people to set targets and achieve goals in some areas, such as planning holidays and building family relationships, this support was not applied consistently across all residents.
