Woodfield Care Home Limited

Woodfield Care Home provides accommodation and personal care for up to 36 older people, including those living with dementia, sensory impairment or physical disability. At the time of assessment, 23 people were using the service. The CQC rated it Requires Improvement overall, an improvement on the previous inadequate rating, though shortfalls remain in medication management, agency staff competencies, weight recording, faulty equipment and notifications to the regulator.

Inspectors found staff were kind, attentive and knew people well, and relatives were satisfied with care. Governance had strengthened, though gaps persisted in safety oversight. Some staff reported feeling under pressure at times due to staffing levels, though people generally received warm, dignified support.
