Rose Lodge Care Home

Summerfield House provides nursing and personal care for up to 107 people across three floors, with Cedar specialising in dementia care, Oak offering residential care, and Maple providing nursing care. At the time of inspection, 94 people were living at the home.

However, significant safety concerns were identified. People were at risk of harm due to inadequate risk assessment and mitigation processes. Medicine management systems were unsafe, and staffing levels were insufficient to meet people's needs and keep them safe. Staff were not always appropriately deployed, and training was not kept up to date. Recruitment processes lacked robustness, and people were not consistently treated with dignity and respect by staff.
