The home has prioritized maintaining residents' relationships with visitors, adapting a spare bedroom into a dedicated visiting pod with separate entrances to enable safe visits.

Visitors book appointments and receive guidance on appropriate PPE when needed. The home has ample space for social distancing, and residents can also receive visitors in their own rooms with no restrictions in place. The registered manager confirmed the appointments system works effectively to keep people safe.

Throughout the COVID pandemic, the home maintained regular communication with relatives through newsletters and calls, providing updates on government guidance. When COVID outbreaks occurred, the home implemented systems to ensure residents received care in a safe environment.
