Wood Way Lodge accommodates up to four people with learning disabilities, with three residents living there at the time of inspection. The home has implemented strong infection control measures, including temperature checks and Covid-19 screening questionnaires for visitors, with PPE available throughout. Staff change their clothing at the start and end of shifts to reduce cross-infection risks, and residents who test positive for Covid-19 are supported to self-isolate in line with current guidance. The home prioritises maintaining meaningful connections for residents, supporting them to stay in contact with relatives and friends through video and telephone calls. Management maintains regular communication with families via email and phone to keep them informed about their relatives' wellbeing.
