Winton Lodge

Winton Lodge is a care home providing personal care for up to 9 people with a learning disability and autistic people. Nine people were living there when the CQC carried out its assessment, looking at all key areas of the service against national guidance on right support, right care and right culture.

Inspectors found the home was performing well. People were supported in a person-centred way, encouraged to join meaningful activities, and cared for by a consistent, kind staff team who knew them well. Safeguarding procedures and staffing levels were adequate, and governance systems gave the provider good oversight.

Relatives spoke highly of the care given, describing the home as somewhere their family members felt happy and settled.
