Winifred Dell accommodates up to 76 older people, including those with dementia, in a residential care home providing nursing or personal care. At inspection, 71 people were using the service. Staff deployment was inconsistent, though the registered manager implemented plans to improve this following the inspection. The home has safe recruitment procedures and systems in place to safeguard people from abuse. Risk assessments protect residents' safety, and processes exist to learn from accidents and incidents. Staff support people to have maximum choice and control in their lives.
