A system of "dirty and clean" pens in the reception area ensures visitors only use clean writing implements, with used pens kept separately and disposed of to reduce cross-contamination risks.

Care staff are restricted from accessing back-of-house areas including the kitchen and laundry, maintaining clear separation between care and operational zones.
