Winfrith House

Winfrith House is a residential care home for adults and younger adults with learning disabilities or autism. The service accommodates up to 2 people in a domestic-style 3-bedroom property in Southampton. At inspection, one person was living there.

While staff demonstrated knowledge of safeguarding and appropriate staffing levels were in place, improvements were needed in how the provider identified, assessed, and managed risks to residents. The home did not consistently support people to have maximum choice and control over their lives.
