Windy Ridge Care Home

Windy Ridge Care Home provides accommodation and personal care, including support for people living with dementia. The CQC assessed the service after concerns were raised about safeguarding and moving and handling, and found it was performing well overall, rated Good.

Inspectors found enough staff on duty, robust recruitment, safe medicines management and effective infection control. Safeguarding concerns had been handled appropriately, and leadership was well regarded by staff. Some care records lacked detail on daily notes and on how people were involved in planning their care, though management was already addressing this.

Families and professionals spoke positively about the care provided.
