Windmill House

Windmill House provides personal care and support to older people, including those living with dementia, with capacity for up to 59 residents. At inspection, 47 people were using the service.

The care environment was not visibly clean and well-maintained, and people were not adequately protected from harm. Residents with dementia had access to unsecured risks including razors and prescribed creams. People did not always receive appropriate support with their personal care. Inspectors identified significant concerns around infection prevention and control practices, with the service's food hygiene rating showing further deterioration.
