Willowbeck Health Care Limited

Willowbeck Health Care Limited provides nursing and personal care to up to 80 people with mental health or physical support needs across seven discrete units, each with their own focus and communal facilities. At inspection, 66 people were living at the service, with one unit undergoing refurbishment.

Inspectors identified safety concerns including environmental risks that had not been adequately identified, and staff did not receive sufficient information about some risks to keep people safe. Medicine administration did not fully follow best practice guidance. While the home had identified and shared lessons learned, these had not always been effective in driving improvement.

Despite these concerns, people told inspectors they felt safe at the service.
