Westbourne House Nursing Home

Westbourne House Nursing Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 71 people with a range of medical and mental health needs. It supports long stay residents alongside people receiving intermediate care after a hospital stay, helping them regain independence before returning home or moving elsewhere. The CQC rated the service Good overall.

Inspectors found staff worked well with health professionals, managed risks carefully and kept people safe from abuse. Staffing levels were sufficient and residents praised the kindness and skill of staff. Some minor medicine shortfalls on one unit were quickly resolved, and one resident raised concerns about cleanliness in their room, though most people felt safe, well cared for and well fed.
