White Cliffs Lodge

White Cliffs Lodge provides accommodation and personal care to up to 15 people, with 13 residents at the time of inspection. The service supports people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, and autistic people across two separate houses: White Cliffs Lodge itself accommodating 6 people, and White Cliffs Court providing 7 self-contained flats.

Staff did not always support people to achieve their aspirations and goals. Limited availability of drivers meant people were not consistently supported to participate in activities and pursue interests in their local area. The service did not consistently enable people to have maximum choice and control over their lives, or support them in the least restrictive way possible. Best interest meetings had not always been carried out when required.
