Wheathills House

Wheathills House provides personal and nursing care to 21 people aged 65 and over in a rural setting with extensive grounds and single occupancy bedrooms designed for independent movement. The home has introduced new governance systems and quality audits to monitor the service and identify improvements. People told inspectors they felt safe and that staff looked after them well. Relatives described the registered manager and staff team as very caring and responsive to people's needs. Staff worked well together and understood how to support people in accordance with their care plans and risk assessments. The home monitored people's safety and welfare, with oversight of accidents and incidents reviewed to help prevent reoccurrence.
