Bearwardcote Hall Residential Home

Bearwardcote Hall Residential Home provides residential care for older adults, registered for up to 38 people, with 16 people using the service at the time of the assessment. Following a previous inspection that found serious failings, the CQC found significant progress, with the home no longer in breach of regulations and no longer in Special Measures.

However, inspectors found that improvements were still recent and not fully embedded. People were not always fully involved in care planning, mealtimes did not always support dignity and independence, and medicines governance and post-fall monitoring needed further strengthening. The home is now rated Requires Improvement overall.
