Westvilla Nursing Home

Westvilla Nursing Home accommodates up to 34 people across two floors and provides personal and nursing care. At the time of inspection, 24 people were resident at the service.

Medicine management was inconsistent. While people received their prescribed medicines on time, documentation for as-needed medications was unclear, and staff lacked consistently clear instructions to administer medicines safely. The provider was mostly following government COVID-19 guidance, and the registered manager had developed an infection control action plan in response to recent issues.
