Westcroft Nursing Home Ltd

Westcroft provides personal care, accommodation, and treatment for up to 28 older people, some living with dementia. At inspection, 25 residents were present at the service.

Staff demonstrated safe practices in managing residents' health and wellbeing. Care files contained comprehensive risk assessments for pressure ulcer prevention and equipment use, with staff observed following safe moving and handling techniques in line with individual risk management plans. Medicines were safely managed throughout the home, with clear protocols established for 'as required' medications that detailed when and how these should be administered to each person.
