About Richmond Mews

Richmond Mews is a nursing home in Stoke-on-Trent supporting adults with learning disabilities, offering accommodation across a number of separate flats and a bungalow. Details of the most recent CQC findings are set out below.

Richmond Mews provides accommodation and personal care for 41 adults with learning disabilities across eight separate flats and one bungalow. The service is deliberately designed to blend into a residential neighbourhood, with no identifying signs, intercoms, cameras or industrial bins outside. Staff are discouraged from wearing anything that indicates they are care workers when arriving at or leaving the property.

The home supports people to live as independently as possible, with emphasis on choice, control and achieving the best possible outcomes. The service applies principles and values based on best practice guidance to enable residents to live full lives within the community.
