West Lodge Care Home

West Lodge accommodates up to 27 adults over 65 years old who may have dementia or physical disabilities, providing nursing or personal care in an adapted building. At inspection, 18 people were using the service.

The service lacked consistency in management and leadership, with unclear roles and responsibilities among staff. People were not always protected against avoidable harm, with slow responses when residents' needs changed. Some care records did not accurately reflect the risks residents faced, leaving gaps in ensuring people received appropriate support.
