West Lodge Care Home

West Lodge Care Home provides personal care and support to older people and people living with dementia, caring for 18 people at the time of the assessment. The CQC previously rated the home requires improvement, with breaches relating to consent, safe care, staffing and governance. Inspectors found these issues had since been resolved, with clearer risk management, sufficient staffing, proper training and stronger oversight under a new manager, and the home is now rated Good overall.

People told inspectors they felt safe, involved in decisions about their care, and well looked after. Feedback described staff as exceptionally caring and attentive to individual preferences, with meals also praised highly.
