Staff were well trained and experienced, and the home maintained adequate staffing levels to keep people safe. The premises was clean and tidy, with staff understanding infection control procedures. Medicines were overall safely managed, and care records guided staff on individual support needs. However, risk monitoring records were not always fully completed, and fire equipment safety checks had not been done for two months before the inspection. Processes were in place to investigate accidents and incidents, though current best practice guidance was not always consistently used to inform care planning. Despite these concerns, people were kept safe from harm overall.
