Parker House Nursing Home

Parker House Nursing Home provides nursing and personal care to up to 25 older adults, many living with dementia, across a two-floor adapted building. At the time of inspection, 24 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns with risk management. Risks relating to the environment were inconsistently managed, and medicines were not always handled safely, placing people at increased risk of harm. Staff did not consistently follow safe infection prevention and control practices, leaving people vulnerable to infection. However, people and their relatives reported feeling safe at the home.
