West Lancashire Short Break Services provides short breaks for adults with physical disabilities or learning disabilities, and autistic people. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding a caring, person-centred culture where staff knew people well and supported them to take part in meaningful activities and community life.

Inspectors found safeguarding processes robust, staffing generally sufficient, and medicines managed safely. Families praised the flexible, home-from-home approach, though the CQC noted support plans, risk assessments and consent records were not always kept up to date. A new manager had been appointed and had applied to register.
