Elm House Care Home

Elm House Care Home is a residential care home providing support to older people, people with a physical disability and those with sensory impairments. The CQC found the home was performing well overall, having made significant improvements since previously being placed in Special Measures. Staff were kind and skilled, the environment was clean and well-maintained, and people received food, care and support that met their needs.

Some issues remained, with inspectors noting further work was needed around medicines management and consistently monitoring people's health outcomes. Governance had improved but was still being embedded. Relatives spoke positively about kinder, better organised care since changes in management.
