West Hill Care Home

West Hill Care Home provides nursing and personal care for up to 77 people. At inspection, 36 residents were living there with varying health needs including diabetes, epilepsy, and dementia.

Inspectors identified concerns with medicines safety. Guidance for 'when required' medicines lacked specific information about administration timing and methods, and protocols had not always been reviewed. Medicines records in care plans were not always accurate when checked.

Staff were not consistently following government Covid-19 guidance, with some observed not wearing masks correctly in the home.
