West Hall

West Hall accommodates up to 117 older people, some living with dementia, across three separate lodges. The site also features an activity centre, hairdresser and bistro. At inspection, 107 people were residing at the service. Staff were described as exceptionally caring and kind, displaying a strong person-centred culture that enabled people to express their views and feel genuinely valued. People at the end of their life and their families received outstanding care from staff with distinctive skills in end-of-life support. Staff demonstrated superior abilities in recognising people's wellbeing and social needs, resulting in enhanced quality of life. Care was planned proactively with individuals, with staff remaining flexible and responsive to each person's individual requirements. The service engaged actively with the local community and external services.
