Wellfield

Wellfield provides accommodation and personal care to 26 people aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 29 residents. The home occupies two floors in Accrington, Lancashire, with one double bedroom and single bedrooms for other residents, most of which have en-suite bathroom facilities.

Staff demonstrated good infection control practices, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the home. Adequate PPE stock and hand sanitising gel were readily available in multiple locations, and staff had received training in infection control procedures.
