About Henley House

Henley House is a residential care home in Lancashire, providing personal care and support for older people. Details of the CQC's most recent findings are set out below.

Henley House is a care home providing personal care and support for up to 23 people, including older people with a range of needs. The CQC found the service overall good, with high-quality, person-centred care and staff who knew people well. Inspectors identified gaps around medication management, consent and mental capacity documentation, and found that internal audits had not picked up these issues, though the provider gave assurances improvements had since been made.

Most people and relatives spoke positively, describing kind, attentive staff and a caring manager, with enough staff to keep people safe. However, some feedback was mixed, with one relative and a visiting professional raising concerns about inconsistent care and preventable falls.
