Waterloo House Rest Home Limited

Waterloo House Rest Home provides care and support for older people. The CQC carried out a responsive assessment after concerns were raised about the premises, infection control and medicines management, and found the home was performing well overall.

Inspectors found no concerns with the premises or infection prevention, and refurbishment had addressed earlier issues. Staff worked well together and with other professionals to meet people's needs promptly. Governance was generally effective, though medicines record audits needed improvement.

People and families described staff as kind, respectful and reliable, and felt care was safe and appropriate.
