Warrington Residential and Dementia Care

Warrington Lodge is a ground floor care home providing accommodation and personal care for up to 21 people with dementia. At inspection, all 21 beds were occupied. Staff demonstrated extensive knowledge of residents' individual needs and provided support for both people and their relatives, understanding how dementia affects the wider family network. The home maintained a calm, relaxed atmosphere where people moved at their own pace, and staff interactions were natural and engaging, reflecting a whole-team approach to personalised care.

The service prioritised a person-centred culture with strong emphasis on choice and control. Residents actively participated in home life and took responsibility for their environment. Staff received comprehensive induction training and access to ongoing development, supported by two on-site training officers who tracked their progress. The home's policies and systems ensured people received support in the least restrictive way possible, in line with their best interests.
