Wardley Street

Wardley Street is a short-stay and emergency respite care service supporting up to 7 people at any one time, including those with learning disabilities and autistic people. The service accommodates around 40 people and their families who use it regularly. People staying there may have additional care needs related to mental health, mobility, communication, or sensory impairment.

People using the service spoke positively about the care provided. One relative said, "My family member loves to stay at Wardley Street. The staff are all so supportive there." Another added, "It's a wonderful service my daughter receives there." The service demonstrated how it meets principles of respect, equality, dignity, and choice for the people it supports.
