South Park Residential Home

South Park Residential Home provides personal care to older people, supporting up to 10 people at the time of the CQC's assessment. This was a follow-up check after a previous breach of regulations, and inspectors found the home had made significant improvements and was rated Good overall. Fire safety issues had been resolved, and the building had been fully refurbished, giving everyone their own bedroom in a safer, more comfortable environment.

Inspectors found a new registered manager providing clear, open leadership, with effective governance and accountability. Staffing levels, recruitment and medicines management were all found to be safe. People living at the home and their relatives spoke warmly of the care and the welcoming, homely atmosphere.
