Vine House Older Persons Residence

Vine House accommodates up to 17 older people, including those living with dementia, across two floors accessed by a lift. The home features a communal lounge and dining room, along with gardens to the rear, side and front. At the time of inspection, 13 people were in residence.

The home demonstrates good practice in supporting safe visits for residents and relatives. A bespoke cabin in the garden features two entrances divided by a floor-to-ceiling screen, with an intercom to aid communication and heating for comfort. The residents' side includes a handwashing sink, and personal protective equipment and disinfectant wipes are available. The cabin is fully cleaned and ventilated between visits.
