Viera Gray House

Viera Gray House provides personal care and support to up to 41 older people across four separate wings, with one wing specialising in dementia care. At inspection, 20 residents were living at the home. The service has made significant improvements in staffing levels, medicines management, safeguarding procedures, and governance. Residents reported being happy with the care they received and felt confident that any concerns would be addressed. Staff demonstrated understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and treated people with respect and dignity.

Medicines systems are now well-organised with people receiving their prescribed medications as required. While feedback from community and health professionals was mixed, most agreed the service was improving and moving in the right direction. Residents felt safe and secure in the home's care.
