Viera Gray House

Viera Gray House, in Richmond upon Thames, is a residential care home providing personal care and support for up to 41 older people. A follow-up inspection by the CQC found the service had improved since previously being rated requires improvement, and it is now rated Good overall.

Inspectors found some shortfalls, including a risk management plan not always being followed, one missed crash mat, and staff appraisals that were overdue. However, the service kept people safe, staffing levels and recruitment were sound, and medicines and infection control were managed well. Leadership was described as stable and visible, and people, relatives and professionals spoke positively about the kind, attentive care provided.
