Victoria House Residential Home

Victoria House provides residential care and accommodation to up to 43 people across two floors. At the time of inspection, 37 residents were living at the home, which features bedrooms on both ground and upper levels along with three shared communal lounges and dining rooms.

The home has systems in place to monitor and improve its service, though these need strengthening and embedding into daily practice. Environmental safety checks had not been carried out promptly, and while accident and incident monitoring occurs, the recording of actions taken requires improvement to ensure the home learns from these events and prevents recurrence.
