Nesfield Lodge

Nesfield Lodge is a residential care home in a purpose-built building over two floors, providing personal care without nursing for up to 44 people. At the time of the assessment, 41 people were living there. The CQC rated the service good, finding that individual risk assessments were well managed, staff understood how to protect people from abuse, and digital systems helped monitor risks effectively.

Inspectors found staffing levels and recruitment practices were safe, with regular, well-trained staff providing consistent, person-centred care. People and relatives described a friendly, welcoming culture, with kind staff who knew them well and supported their independence and choice.
