Vicarage Farm Nursing Home

Vicarage Farm Nursing Home provides nursing care for up to 59 older people, including those living with dementia, complex nursing needs, and those nearing the end of their lives. At inspection, 58 residents were living there.

People received their medicines safely and as prescribed, though some improvements were identified and addressed on the day of inspection. Staff had received training in medicines management and their competencies were assessed to ensure they could support people safely with their medicines.

The home understood and applied the principles of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 appropriately in supporting residents.
