The Mayfair

The Mayfair is a nursing home supporting 18 adults aged 18 and over with varying needs including mental health conditions, physical disabilities, and dementia. At the time of inspection, 17 people were living at the service.

Staff supported residents to maintain their independence, and some had successfully moved to more independent living arrangements. However, the home lacked clear long-term plans for how individuals could achieve greater independence. Following feedback from inspectors, the provider demonstrated they were working with residents to address this gap.

The home had systems in place for safely managing residents' medicines, with staff receiving appropriate training in this area.
