Valkyrie Lodge

Valkyrie Lodge is a care home providing personal care to a small number of people who require support with their mental health. At the time of the assessment, six people were living at the service. The CQC rated it good overall, finding that care plans were detailed and staff training and recruitment had improved.

Inspectors noted that governance systems and general oversight still needed strengthening, and the environment required updating to feel more homely. People living there said they got on well with staff and were generally happy, though some would welcome more activities.
