Upton Grey Close Care Home

Upton Grey Close provides accommodation and support for up to five adults with learning disabilities or autistic spectrum disorder. At the time of inspection, four people were living in the home, each with their own single bedroom and en-suite facilities. The service includes communal spaces such as a garden, kitchen dining room, and lounge.

The home demonstrated strong practice in helping people maintain relationships. Residents were supported to stay in touch with family and friends through various methods, including video calls using tablets. The service also arranged visits where people could walk to family homes and wave to relatives, and organised special drive-by visits when in-person contact wasn't possible.
